Recently the Supreme Court overturned the landmark Chevron case, directly challenging the principle that experts within governmental agencies like the EPA should be able to make regulatory actions and clear up ambiguities. This could make it more challenging for the EPA to enact or enforce regulations aimed at reducing carbon dioxide emissions or other harmful environmental pollutants.
