In the Land/s series, Dashti joins two disparate environments into a state of coexisting, one from her home country of Iran and another from her new home, the U.S., forefronting a paradox of identity and belonging that is growing in landscapes and rooted in nature. The idea behind this series grew out of a fascination between human and geographical narratives, interconnected with the artists own experience.
